Some things can't be improved by electronics. This is one of them.

i wouldn't say never necessarily....we have no idea what technology is going to bring

i will say that any digital tech worth having is going to be battlefield proven first.....this just looks to me like something that could be used to diminish rights and functionality

Look to sci-fi type electronic guns for that, maybe. This just opens the ability to jam someone's gun electronically.

Yeah you could get 3 Glocks with that kind of money. Can you image going to fire it and realize the battery is dead in the key chain sensor? I mean seriously what is a person to do in a Zombie Apocalypse when there is a shortage of batteries?

I wouldn't say that necessarily, what I would say is that you can't successfully control a mechanical device with a computer; the mechanical device will always be able to work without it.

With that said, I have seen some pretty awesome technology in rifles, mostly the scope, that basically calculates the trajectory for you and where you point is where the bullet will hit. It takes most of the skill out of shooting. If made small enough, it could revolutionize the gun industry.

unfortunately any new tech that makes the gun more effective/more comfortable/easier to use will run into so much friction that i doubt we'll ever see it come to market
