Don't think I'll accept because my roster is so weak that Crowder is in a flex and don't think Renfrow would be a improvement on it.

not sure the 3rd means a whole lot to me in a 16tm league, at least not this far away from the draft.
sure, if there's a guy that I really want that's available, I'll start making offers to those on the clock (anyone in D2 or Bandit's league can attest to that)

But to make a move for that 3rd rd pick right now? eh, doesn't move the needle.

I know Crowder is also one of the jets WRs not practicing, but out of all of their receiving options (minus Bell), Crowder is the one that needs to least practice reps to get in sync with the play calling/Darnold.

Renfrow has a similar set up - he's really the only familiar target outside of Waller for Carr, but I still have Darnold over Carr, and Gase's system has a long history of heavily utilizing the slot WR. Can't discount how strong Renfrow came on at the end of last year either, but then Oakland drafted Ruggs, Edwards, and Bowden....essentially resetting their WR room this year. Jets brought in Perriman and drafted Mims, but neither have really been healthy at all yet the last month, Crowder should be in line for as many targets as he can handle.

I'd hold Crowder, or pair your 4th (or maybe your third?) with him and get Renfrow + a 2nd round pick.

If I had Renfrow I would be hoping he turned into a Crowder like player

I’ll take that. Crowder’s needle will not move your season, imo.

never know what you can turn that pick into...

Meh...I don't think a third is enough for me to take a leap on the faith that Renfrow becomes the slot machine he appears to be. Carr has one more year, and HE might throw a lit to Renfrow, because he's a chickenshit. But, the next guy? The next guy had damned well better be drooling to pepper the ball to Ruggs and Edwards.

Crowder is just plain old reliable. Pencil in a consistent lower end WR2, every week. Rarely worse, rarely better.

I'd need more than a #3 to take that risk

Good to hear because I declined the offer and kept Crowder.

That was absolutely the correct move especially in a 16 team league. ..... as treff and monkey point out Crowder is safe and has always been consistent. A 3rd (especially next yr) that could be anywhere from 33nd to 48th is at best a crapshoot. ...
