16tm full ppr, have great starting RBs, but terrible depth, so targeting Gainwell and Stevenson in the early 2nd round, would have to trade to get Gainwell at 2.1

offer:
I give my 2023 1st round pick for Kenneth Gainwell (guy I'd take with pick 2.1) + 2023 3rd round pick

(he asked for 2023 1st round instead of 2022 1st round in hopes that my team won't be as good in 2 seasons, lol)

any thoughts/comments appreciated

I can't recommend trading for Gainwell for a future first, even a late future first. I don't think he does much for your depth as he likely only see's spot duty. The 2023 draft is being touted as a very strong draft class, so definitely don't trade those picks away.

agree on that, but the hope is that they'll be decent RBBC guys to fill in bye weeks, especially Gainwell. He kept Antonio Gibson off the field in Memphis (2019) and has superior pass catching chops compared to most the RB herd in philly.

Not dead set on Stevenson at 2.4, there will definitely be a WR or 2 I really like there, or I might even pull the trigger on Parsons there

Stevenson going to have to be patient and wait for his chance to show what he can do. You might be able to trade for him cheap after a few games of hardly seeing the field. He'll be a nice get for later in the season.

yeah, thinking I'd have plenty of time to try to acquire someone else's 2023 1st if I dealt mine, but prob should just take the advice from you and SP and just wait and see what's available at 2.4

Sure wouldn't want to make that trade, but if you've got a good team, meaning a better than average chance at low end future #1's, I think it's worth it..for either.
Of the 2, I think Stevenson provides more opportunity for immediate production..I know he can beat Michel, and he at worst 50/50 to beat out Harris..Will get work regardless.
But Gainwell is more likely to be a bigger producer, I just think you'll have to stash him longer to realize that benefit

Heck yeah, can't hurt to try.

Offer accepted!

he also had pick 2.3, so my thought process aligned perfectly with his - he really wanted to get Chubba to cuff CMC, but also wanted to get a player that wasn't just a cuff out of this draft

Happy to have a decent RB3 like Davis in the mix vs another QB or IDP, I already have decent guys at those spots, and Wilson/Parsons were my targets if I had to pick

Davis can easily be a low end RB1 this season... Just look at how good gurley was when he was healthy in that offense... he was a TD machine... Davis is big and strong... i can easily see him getting 10+ TDs this season... in fact i would be shocked if he doesnt....

the risk is completely in whether or not ATL brings in any more RB help between now and Sept.
I'm more excited about the receiving abilities in a pass happy offense that just lost Julio and replaced him with a rookie TE.

50-60rec isn't out of the question if he's the lead back for them
