Yeah, it really, really is....

I sure hope Goodell doesn't call the season after week 5. That would suck for us.

What's the matter guy? Can't handle second place after all off season of telling us how your team was unstoppable. Your right, 16 weeks of second place sounds like fun for you, it is a good thing the season doesn't end at week 5.

Percy Harvin 'closer' to return

Seattle Seahawks coach Pete Carroll, speaking Monday morning on his weekly radio show on 710 ESPN Seattle, said wide receiver Percy Harvin is "getting closer" to returning from his hip surgery two months ago to repair a torn labrum in his hip.

"He will be back in town this week," Carroll said of the wide receiver. "He was in New York to make sure the doctor that did the surgery, and his rehab team, were ready to sign off on it.

"I know he started running last week. I don't know any more than that until we get him out here, but it's encouraging. We're getting closer. It's going to happen as soon as possible."

Harvin was Seattle's top offseason acquisition in a trade with the Minnesota Vikings. The Seahawks gave the Vikings their first-round pick in 2013, along with a seventh-round selection, and a third-round pick in 2014, to acquire Harvin.

Seattle signed Harvin to a six-year, $67 million contract, with $25 million guaranteed. Expectations were high for what Harvin could do for the Seahawks' offense, but he injured his hip in the summer and underwent surgery Aug. 1.

The typical recovery time for the labrum surgery is three to four months, but Harvin has tweeted hints for weeks that he would be back sooner than expected.

He did so again Monday.

12th man im back and ready....countdown begins
12:45 PM - 7 Oct 2013

Harvin is on the physically unable to perform (PUP) list, but can return in Week 7. It's possible, although seemingly unlikely, Harvin could return after the game this weekend against the Tennessee Titans.

If Harvin passes his physical next week, he would have three weeks to practice and possibly return to the roster. He is eligible to start practicing Oct. 15.

The Seahawks made a surprising roster move last weekend that could indicate they expect Harvin to return sooner than expected. The Seahawks released receiver Stephen Williams on Saturday in order to active linebacker Bruce Irvin for the game at Indianapolis, leaving the team with only four active receivers.

ESPN.com senior writer John Clayton contributed to this report.

I couldn't stop laughing. That guy was BOOKING IT! That was far more impressive then the return.

Lol, I know, man. He was determined to catch him.

I just noticed he got nailed at the end. He would've been better off making the tackle.

:L

He's flexing while the play is still live. He then realizes it and heads towards the end zone.

Hammer banned me from the 9ers board for a lot less. As soon as I made my 1st post, Beaker chimed in saying I'm the worst poster in the history of the net ( I was amused to hear that compliment) and he did tell me to fuck off.
My response was that he should use his own advice and Ef Off. Just like that.
Banned.
Very lame, too quick to judge, and took the Bealers word that I was bad news.
Honestly, that is something I don't like about this site. If a guy proves he is a troll, it is easy to see if he is trying to incite a problem on the board. The troll will soon expose himself for all to see, then a good 30 day ban should be the 1st move. After that...eternity.
Many SF posters including dark came to my side stating I did nothing to be banned for. Similar to a bad cop, some people have a little too much power for the greater good.
The quality of the moderating on the NFL forums isn't good. May your ban pass quickly.

Hey 9ers fans!

You're welcome for breaking the Texans before we sent them to you. We came within six of avenging what the Colts did to you on your own turf too.

You know us, always looking out for the NFC West.

Yeah! Who says Pete Carroll & Jim Harbaugh don't like each other? :suds:

49ers posters are back! Sweet. I was worried you would all just disappear. Your still in the rear view mirror.

We had some wounds to lick, and Seattle doesn't come to San Fran' 'tli December. So I'm sure the rivalry will cool down a bit 'til then.

I have to be honest: I'm not looking forward to facing Percy Harvin while Michael Crabtree will still be nursing a bad achilles.

...wait, what thread is this again? Oops.

I mean, screw the SeaPigeons! 49ers still rule!

My 2 cents , I think on certain boards the passion run hot. Certainly the 49er/Seahawks boards , but the Redskins/ Cowboy boards is another example . Posters have got to realize this, some time it's just better to recognize that past history between rival posters will led to restriction. Certainly Breaker is more then willing to brand certain posters as trolls and not just Seahawks fans. The same holds true for posters between the Redskins and Cowboys. The hate runs deep there.

As far as the moderating goes on NFL boards...I think they do a good job under trying circumstances( in some cases at least), I really think saying the moderating it isn't good is a injustice to the mods, but then I'm a mod so, I'm a bit bias. Also compared to ESPN the moderating on SportsHoopla is like the gold standard.

Coming from a Skins fan, I think the mods do a very good job under some very inflammatory situations. I can vouch for passions running hot between division rivals. Though I think it's worse for your two teams since your both competitive and relevant this year. How I miss those days of old...
