I have been actually hoping this might happen for sometime. Swap picks plus an assortment of picks and maybe throw in a player. IMO, regardless of how they will play Simmons they need a legit PG could can run the point and play off the ball.

If this happens it will be interesting to see what the Sixers need to give up.

Has to be Fulz. Easily their biggest need and they could have a really dynamic offense with him and Simmons.

Given that I would expect that they would need to give up one of their likely high No. 1s next year, it has to be for someone they know they won't get at 3. Hopefully they trade their own No. 1 rather than the Lakers.

Yeah, #1 alone wouldn't help the Bulls as fast when they would , no doubt, have to blow it up if they trade Butler.

Not enough difference between picks 1 and 5.

So, why not get multiple....

I am wondering the same? I love the idea of having Fultz playing alongside Simmons. Now IF only we can get a full season of our roster playing healthy, the Sixers are on the rise. That's the big IF.

I'm ok with this. They have been trying to unload Okafor for the past couple seasons. He is just not a good fit. Love the idea of Fultz and Simmons.

I am wondering the same? I love the idea of having Fultz playing alongside Simmons. Now IF only we can get a full season of our roster playing healthy, the Sixers are on the rise. That's the big IF.

I think Simmons injury was a one off and I'm not that concerned about it.

I think Embiid may always be an injury concern.

This is the trade scenario that has always made most sense to me for the 6ers. Fultz is clearly the best fit for their roster.

Just not sure the price will make sense for them. It really should not cost that much to move up this year. Like others have said, the talent gap between 1 and 5 is small. I would be unwilling to give a future first rounder unless it was heavily protected.

Yeah, I kind of agree with you here. I would love to see what a healthy Embiid would do in this league playing a full season.

I really have no idea what the Celtics are really expecting to get from the trade but I would trade a future #1 if it was top 3 protected in a heart beat.

Also sounds like Sixers will give up at least one future 1st. I'm ok with that. They have 4 over the next 2 years. IF they can get some protection or maybe give them the lower of the two picks next year, I would be quite happy with that.

Where did you see this? I know on CSN Philly we would be giving up ou3 3rd, Okafor, and a 1st rounder next season, just not sure which one?

I made it up knowing Ainge had been coveting Okafor for over a year now.
