Good call on Mitchell but I doubt it, management and coaching staff seem to be in love with this guy. I have no idea what he has done or continues to do that guarantees him a spot in the lineup.

Jason Demers is no longer listed on the Sharks roster at sjsharks.com. They better be getting more than a rental of Ian White if they are moving Demers.

Acquiring White, then demoting Demers doesn't make sense to me. They are kind of the same player, but I don't see White as being a huge upgrade over Demers.

If Dougie traded Demers for Ian White (or any other rental player), he should be fired immediately.

Bleh, two draft picks is the future. With the Sharks continuing to miss in the early rounds, but do well in the later rounds, trading away these draft picks is in essence mortgaging the future for a rental. Oh well, gotta assume they aren't early picks.
