i agreeWe pay more in the first few years, maybe. But by the end of his long term contract, his salary will look like a great deal. I just don't get the major sweat everyone is having about paying KC so much if he does well. Isn't that a good problem to have? It sure beats paying him too much if we would have locked him up and he reverts back to old KC and turns out not to be a franchise QB. I don't believe that is going to happen, but no sensible person could completely rule it out.
