I can confirm this is in the in game rules.

The league will get together with a statement and issue a flagrant I think. I doubt they make it a 2 if not simply for the suspension they would have to give out.

Looking at that play live, it was not obvious that he got hit in the throat. So to the refs, it probably just looked like a regular foul. Even the commentators didn't realize how hard the foul was, until they seen the replay. The refs don't have that luxury.

Finally got around to watching this foul by McBob. Definitely flagrant. I like his quote. And he's right. He could have come up swinging if this was the 1980s.

Pacers/Hawks series could go either way. If the Pacers show up they should be fine, but that's a big if. They fought today.
