I think it went a step beyond that. And I don't know what "Majority America" is. That's not a thing. I'm pointing out IMO some of the major flaws by the DNC before the election as they corelate to current flaws (again IMO), and how the focus must change completely (including staff) for the Democrats to have a chance to regain the White House.

Just an observational theory. I voted Trump, but I voted for Obama the first time.

I thought she ran a terrible campaign and her smug, arrogant approach to certain important swing states likely cost her the election. Additionally, I'm more than willing to give President Trump a chance, but his first 100+ days in office have been very poor (aside from the bump in the stock market).

Back in 08 when I lived in Montana and my presidential vote counted I voted for Obama. Not so much because I cared all that much for him but because I wanted to see if Montana could be swung and it was actually a lot closer than I thought it would be. In 12 living in a state that is always decided and my vote means squat I voted for Romney. In 16 where my vote really meant squat I wrote in a giant panda at the national zoo in DC named Bao Bao. She may be Chinese but she was born in the US (although since Trump became president she has since been deported back to China)

It's probably exactly what it looks like. One defendant is a former Congressman with political connections. The other is a "nobody" who had the audacity to not show proper respect to the White House and the state.

That being said, while neither sentence is perfect I think that the "correct" one is probably closer to what Weiner got than it is to what Moore got. But the double standard reeks either way.
