This is my interpretation of his post season press conference was they were essentially moving on from Kelenic. Cause I remember saying they have to trade him because keeping him in AAA doesn’t do anything for him and not getting AB’s isn’t going to help him either. I’m just really curious how they can do a 180 and make him an integral part of the team. I still like Kelenic but what has he done to prove he can hit righties.

I am with you. I guess this whole no shift thing is suppose to fix him vs righties. Just a guess or Dipoto just lies about everything which is more likely. I really have no problem with him as 4th OF to start the season and see where it goes but stop all this platoon talk. That may work, but that is a horrible plan. It is a guess. SMH.

I really don’t think the shift going away is going to help him much. IMO his problem is mental but his main problem is he wants to be a 30HR a year guy which he can easily do in AAA but that isn’t what game translates to in the pros. I have said this before but his game is Lenny Dykstra.

Yes you have...lol. At this point, that would be a major win if he gets to that level. And no, the shift won't fix him. You have to make contact for that to potentially happen.
