Another year of sitting on our asses and watching all the top talent going away as used car jerry spouts his yearly bullshit excuses. This team will NOT win a championship ever unless it falls ass backwards into one. The new owners are just as fucking lame as the last ones.

Used car jerry's #1 priority is to make them competitive enough to make a profit and NOTHING MORE. Teams that are already MUCH better than Seattle are making big splashy moves to improve themselves and we get to go dumpster diving every year, no wonder this team has never achieved a DAMNED thing.

True, but I think it would be foolish if they didn’t. I already stated my case how Turner, I guess now Swanson, are perfect for the franchise. Ohtani is the power lefty bat the FO says they wanted and the pitcher they said they wanted. It is a pie in the sky idea. But honest question though, $55 million a year for Ohtani or $30 million a year for Gilbert?

Ohtani. But it's close. You're getting a arm and a bat, that's a hard thing to quantify.
