This is bull crap....they messed with the balls..MLB Reportedly Used Balls with 3 Different Weights During 2022 Season
TYLER CONWAYDECEMBER 6, 2022
I predicted Dodgers during the season because I said it was his hometown team being he was a SoCal guy but turns out he is from San Jose which of course is just outside SF. So right theory, wrong geography.Haniger signs with San Fransico.
I thought it it would be...dodgers.
But I can't blame him...meetch signs with hometown team....it's where he wants s to be
All good..go get um meetch..
We may sign Trevor May for our pen. He is a local as well. But all in all, the local aspect hasn't work inSeattle in over 10 years. Olerud and Sele are two that worked out great, but not many more unless 2.5 years of good Richie Sexson counts.Yeah Snell..will be up.. Next year...for free agent
And conforto..thiis year...
Those are the 2 biggest.stars.from the northwest
That I know..of..
Nick abel.( From portland).will be known soon.but..i would not expect him coming.. this way...soon ..anyway
It was a fight mostly some of us thought the Mariners were still in it and they traded a clubhouse leader. Toro was a former top prospect and it seemed like he was a guy Jerry had targeted that he wanted and saw an opportunity. I saw the argument for it kinda but I just thought it was foolish to trade your clubhouse leader and they still nearly made the playoffs.I could be misremembering but I'm pretty sure I hated the trade for Toro just because it seemed like the front office was conceding they wouldn't make the playoffs and traded away a good reliever for a mediocre prospect.
Pretty sure we all hated the Marco trade at the time. I actually think given hindsight it turned out a lot better than we expected - honestly I didn't think Marco was anything more than a #5 at best - but even given that, it still sucks because I know a lot of us loved Tyler O'Neill. He had a poor year in 2022 but was the player we all thought he'd be in 2021. Given our current situation I'd like O'Neill back lol.
This is my interpretation of his post season press conference was they were essentially moving on from Kelenic. Cause I remember saying they have to trade him because keeping him in AAA doesn’t do anything for him and not getting AB’s isn’t going to help him either. I’m just really curious how they can do a 180 and make him an integral part of the team. I still like Kelenic but what has he done to prove he can hit righties.I don't get it one bit. He said he wants a platoon to protect Kelenic from lefties. Why are we writing Kelenic into a playoff contending lineup? 4th OF, no problem. Platoon? These guys ae killing me and I am getting too old for wait for next decade...I mean next year. I am still pissed to no end on the 2026 crap that only means no bigger signings this decade.
