So the Mariners must have locked him up to a new contract right? There’s no way he could be in the running for a prime job then end up losing out on a bunch of money.

Lost a bigger contract with Cards then gave up the national gigs? Something weird there. Hard to believe M's pony up money for a damn announcer and not players. But these are the Mariners after all.

Like the headliner? If Miller is as good as everyone says he is, unless they eat a bunch of money for Flexen and Marco how do either get any innings this year? I guess they can pull off some magic and trade Ray. But they are bottom barrel shopping for bats so they have to trade if they want to get better. IMO one of he, Gilbert or Kirby has to go for a legitimate bat and I would much prefer to keep Kirby and Gilbert has shown signs of being a capable ace.
