Oh they may need to eat some salary. But what else are they going to spend money on?

Stretching out may be easy, but it takes time. Unless you want to blow out an arm, you have to do it slowly. Pitching 50 innings in relief will require them to step up to 100 then 150. That takes time. To go from 50 to 150 in a season isn't smart. Just saying.

Ya I get that. Buxton can be a stud, but as you said he just doesn't stay healthy. Of course someone could criticize the ranking of JRod after only one season. 2023 should tell us a lot about both those guys.

I am hoping they get it, but it doesn't make sense vs the other places where people actually want to travel to.

This isn’t trying to start an argument but list 3 legitimate reasons why or how they are a viable sports market? The number 1 reason is the Blazers but I equate them with the Packers where legacy doesn’t count.
