I'll never say Hunt made the right choices with that chick, but I'm also definitely not going to say he's in the "domestic abuse" camp. The chick got right up and walked away, and was the instigator when Hunt and his friends were trying to do the right thing. Hell, she wound up being the suspect when the CPD finished their interviews and wrote the subsequent police report.

Gordon's issues were personal. He wasn't intentionally affecting others like Clark. I was still happy to see him go.

Calloway and Hunt are on very thin ice. I'd think they know one small slip up means they're off the team.

A first, and Dee Ford, and a minor pick swap? Yeah, thats an overpay but thats what Veach does. He likes his players and he goes and gets them and everyone knew he liked Clark.

Lots of wasted drafted capital the past few years in pass rushers, too.

Its probably one less need, though, and a good fit on the team. Its hard to get too mad about this but its also hard to feel like we 'won' something.

Pass rushers are valued considerably in a passing league. Frank had 13 sacks last year and is probably on the verge of being a top 3-5 rusher in the league. If you make a pick in the 1st round on a DE, you would be more than satisfied if they ended up as good as Frank Clark. He's had 2 double digit sack years and isn't even 26 yet.

Wouldn't say 3-5 but top 10. Either way this draft has great DL depth, if it was a draft to replace him this is the one to do that.
