Unfortunately another girl died from her wounds yesterday (or Thurs night), raising the death toll to four. Two other boys are still in the hospital, one in ICU at Harborview, and the other recovering from jaw reconstruction.

Truly sad and hopefully the community will pull together and over come this. The Seahawks will also be honoring Walter Jones at half as he's included in the ring of honor.

Now he gets another honor, as the Seahawks announced Thursday he will be inducted into the team’s Ring of Honor on Sunday when Seattle hosts the Raiders at 1:25 p.m.
A press release states that the “ceremony will include the unveiling of Jones’ name on the suite level fascia inside the stadium.”

Jones will become the 11th member of the distinguished group, joining Steve Largent, Jim Zorn, Dave Brown, Pete Gross, Curt Warner, Jacob Green, Kenny Easley, Dave Krieg, Chuck Knox and Cortez Kennedy.


The team will also recognize Seahawks alumni as part of Homecoming Weekend designed to help former NFL players connect with each other, their former teams and the NFL. More than 35 alumni will participate in activities throughout the weekend including a tour and lunch at VMAC and pregame ceremonies on gameday

The Seattle Seahawks will honor Marysville-Pilchuck High School by having a "MP" decal on the back of their helmets for Sunday's game against the Oakland Raiders at CenturyLink Field. The staff, coaches and inactive players will wear a "MP" lapel pin.
