not convinced, all i can see is flags and holding calls all day long. YOU KNOW teams will put their fast twitch rusher on him, Not doing so would be a HUGE mistake. I will say that he is a "smart" player and we saw how Sherman made "being smart" into "being a probowler"> Sherman was not the best cover guy had 4.5 Speed but was looked at as a lock down corner all because he was a student of the game and knew what your keys were. If Cross can bring that level of intelligence to the game then maybe just maybe. But we are talking Walter Jones type intelligence.

Our DL had pass rush issues last year, we do NOT need a run stuffing nose tackle as Seattle has one of the best run defenses in the league...

I get the draft is a time to get drunk, but JEEZ dude.

I would, 4 years, maybe 5 and then move on and get another one before paying them a bundle. Gonna become the new RB.

DL needs pass rushers way more then run stuffers and OL needed addressing. Cross is going to be fine, not elite type but solid.

When was the last time we used our first pick and didn't reach for someone? I honestly can't remember the last time we took a guy in the first round where we didn't reach for a guy who could be had 20+ picks later.

he is the 3rd best OT and I feel there were drastically better players available at that spot.

Well yeah very unusual for the Seahawks I was wondering if they would take Penning ahead of Cross TBH. He fits the usual type they like but way more of a risk.

Poona Ford is above average, Shelby Ford is above average, Al Woods had a great season last year, I don't think you select a NT at #9 unless it's Vita Vea. I love Jordan Davis but he's an elite run defender, but doesn't have any ability to rush the passer and played limited snaps at Georgia because of that.

I think theres a chance he could be vita vea, cross will NEVER be walter jones or even come close. he may end up playing RT.

He won't be close to Walter of course no one is in this draft, but he's a pure LT, not a chance he ever plays at RT
