Cross is a chalk pick, something unusual for them

Anyone think it's funny that Seattle uses the pick they got for the guy who complained about pass protection to pick up a pass protector?
Finally got a top ten pick where they could actually take a safe OT

sad truth is had the Hawks NOT traded for Jamal Adams they would have picked 9th and 10th. Everyone here has bitched about not having a top 10 pick and yet Ignore the fact that Jamal Adams who is Over paid over hyped cost us 2 #1's and a 3rd. One of the #1's was a top 10 pick. Damn they should have drafted Hamilton! Jamal couldn't hold this guys Jock strap.

I give the Seahawks an A+ for taking Charles Cross.

I'm actually surprised they took him with Carroll's emphasis on the run game. He's the best pass protector in the draft and I believe will be a franchise LT.

He doesn't have much experience run blocking, but that's not really a concern of mine as I believe the primary objective of a left tackle should be to protect the QB. Worst case scenario he's an above average pass blocker and a below average run blocker - which I believe can be alleviated by putting Dissly on the left side on run downs - best case scenario he's an elite pass blocker and he becomes an above average run blocker. I think he'll be somewhere in between.

High ceiling, low floor selection. Good pick.

I do not see a high ceiling on Cross. He is to slow, that first step of his is like he is stuck in slow motion. You are born with quickness and at that size you can't "Learn" it. He doesn't have it.

He will end up being a average at best Guard or Center conversion. As you can see i have ZERO faith in him.

Holding LT Cross .... prepare to hear that all season long people.

Hindsight is always 20/20. I don't believe that the any of us would've figured that the pick we traded for Adams would be as high as it is. In retrospect, it was a bad decision, but we have to live with that.

I love Kyle Hamilton, but if it were me deciding between Cross or Hamilton, I would've also selected Cross.

If we selected Hamilton I might've shot myself...

High floor , low ceiling but a safe pick. So no eye rolling from draft gurus
