Are Pats and normal dynasty teams just pissed because ESPN and the sporting networks are nut hugging 2 small market teams in Denver/Seattle at the moment? I don't get it.

The moment some major sporting sites named Seattle and Denver SBOWL favorites, it seems like the hate was on. Now I get that... I naturally want my team to beat a team that's an SBOWL favorite and they have a mark on them... but wtf does that have to do with the fanbase?

Shark, I'm glad you pointed out and agreed about the media coverage Seattle is getting. There was a lotta complaining going on earlier about, 'no respect', 'media love' and 'east coast media bias' from your fan base. Welcome to the microscope and all the love/hate that comes with it.

I had mentioned in a thread that ESPN has a bias to the large markets AND winning teams. That's what they do. Its about dollars and winning stories. Basic economics. Fan bases of teams that get lots of media coverage do not fly under the radar. You're team is one of those teams this year and your fan base will get a lot of attention as a result, deserved or not.

Pete Carroll personally set up a network where recruits would be able to get paid by boosters? And before Pete Carroll arrived at USC not a single player had ever taken so much as a dollar illegally from boosters?

He's sad. I cant blame him. Harbuagh bought a used Ferrari and hit the ground running. Carroll built an F1 racer from the ground up and is currently lapping Harbaugh. Now all Supers has is straws to grasp because he cant deny the turning of the tide.

Seriously though, at this point both teams are still pretty even except for the QB position. Seattle has a true leader that lives for the big moment, and SF has a frontrunner that pisses himself when his team isn't carrying him and he is asked to carry them a little bit.

Not sure if you knew this but they play Harblah's bi-weekly radio show up here live. I mean who has a show every other week in the NFL? They play it live because it is just pure comedy. I know it's beautiful in the Pacific Northwest, but tell me has the suicide rate in the Seattle / Tacoma area gone down any? Your area still the suicide capital of the Country? May have gone down a little since the Seahawks are playing better ball. I know people here in L.A. who tell me they escaped from Seattle, never to go back. Actually, there is no comparison between L.A and Seattle as a place to work and live. Sorry one or some of you had to bring City assination into the conversation.
