I've never been to the Pacific Northwest. I would love to go sometime. I am a big time foodie. Where are the best places to eat?

Hmm, here's a couple of my personal choices, some are a little pricy if you don't mind spending a few extra bucks.

Steakhouse - Daniel's Broiler on Lake Union (north downtown). Some of the best Filet Mignon I've ever had. Great Seafood too, love their crab legs, prawns, scallops, and lobster bisque soup. Great drink menu as well and easy parking.

Seafood - Salty's on Alki. Great food and scenic setting (see pics on website). Make sure you get a table with a view of Downtown Seattle. Great dining experience.

Salty's Waterfront Seafood Grills - Alki Beach / Seattle

Downtown Seattle Waterfront there are plenty of places, mostly seafood joints. Good crab house there called the Crab Pot and there's Anthony's.

Plenty of Asian cuisine as well around the area.

If you enjoy Asian cuisine, china town has plenty of places. The best part is that it's right next to SoDo. Many of the seahawk and sounder fans park around the chinatown area and migrate to the stadiums instead.

Funny how Breaker does not bring up that many of us posted on ESPN for years (i posted on the hawks for 5 and there is many others here that posted there for five years or more).

I was with ESPN for over a decade there, if any of the old posters here remember that ESPN used to thread their forum posts and it was a mess to find. Over the years, I spent most of my time reading on the Hawk's espn board mainly because of the trolls, other than that, majority of my time was spent on the Mariners board. It's complete opposite here now, the M's board here is very much dead.

- The Capital Grille located downtown
- John Howie Steak in Bellevue
- Metropolitan Grill also downtown

For a lesser known smaller scale steak place with similar quality but much smaller bill

- Melrose Grill in Renton

You do have a very good team to chear, they're one of the best in football. However, some of you are simply out of control. You've had a team to actually talk about for a year and a half. Considering you are talking to fans of teams like the Steelers, Pats, Cowboys, Packers and 49er's which all had dynasty's at one time, the Seahawks resume doesn't quit measure up as yet. Yet, some of you are making more noise than a whore screaming. Like I just said the Seahawks are a great team but until they actually win something important, like a SB, some of you need to tone it down a little.

So you believe that fans of a team doing well are not allowed to voice their pleasure on a sports forum with any sort of bravado unless and until they have won super bowls in prior years, and you would prefer more than one. Is that about right? :rollseyes:

You have noticed that the vast majority of the over the top stuff has come against our closest rivals that happen to have one of the biggest bases on this NFL board right? I mean it couldn't have anything at all to do with that could it?

Your team is doing well so far, you should be pumped. But they still haven't done shit, and in fact never have done shit. In comparison to the teams that have done shit, your team is a laughingstock. So try and pretend like you have been there before and act like it. Because you are making fools of yourselves. Especially since every one of your teams seasons in its entire existence has ended in failure.

Right so we follow a team that has never ended the season with a championship and yet we are told we should act like we have been there before. That makes perfect sense.

I like SF's chances of winning at home. Seattle will probably be a minor dog in vegas, but the chance to risk my membership on the hawks board and this board to give the gift to the entire site of your silence for a year is a risk well worth taking.

But didn't he tell us in this thread how much Harblah has dominated Carroll both in college and the pros? And added how many times SF has beaten us versus lost? I mean if his team is so much better than ours wouldn't he jump at the chance to shut me up for a full year?

If you won't make a big boy bet then how about an avatar bet for the rest of the regular season? Winner gets full control of the losers avatar, title, and signature lines for the rest of the season. Standard avatar rules apply: Loser must post no less than 20 times a week during the period or face permanent ban.
