BTW - I am in no way an Eagles fan. However - they did have over 500 yds & scored 30 pts (only 3 fewer than the previous week). How exactly is that being slowed down? Their problem at this time appears to be on defense.

I think the biggest overreaction is the eagles last game. It was a short week. No one is going to play all four quarters of offense twice in five days. KC prepared better offensively for that game.

The scrambling QB trend will continue as teams cannot stop them the first year. However only four QBs are preventing this from being normal for more than a year. We know who they are. Two of them are near the end and that would leave two left with only one other showing promises of being among their caliber(not Matt Ryan). When Brady and Manning are done, scrambling QBs will be dominating the AFC.

There is always room for an athlete.

NFL scouts are licking their lips over TB, Boyd and Manziel just to name a few. There will never be a shortage of running QB's inbound to the pro's and there will always be a NFL team looking to upgrade thier old model for a new shiny one.

I agree... but I also think that most "running" QBs can't pass for shit.

Vick is a horrible passer... all arms and doesn't use his legs and his accuracy suffers.

If you ever get a solid QB who can pass like a top QB in the pocket, but has the ability to scramble like Vick (but tuck the ball in while doing it)... they could be a force to be reckoned with.

What I found humorous last night was all the stoking of the "Terrelle Pryor" bandwagon last night... talking about how he is a future NFL QB with the passes he was making. I honestly didn't see much difference in him and Tebow... the TD throw was a short throw just like Tebow had with Denver in the playoff game. HE had horribly inaccurate balls... missed shorts throws... and had a few good ones.

So how Tebow was the worst QB ever and Pryor is all the sudden a future NFL QB per Gruden and company.... I just don't get it.

The bolded says all that needs to be said, doesn't it? I can't watch MNF anymore. Chucky makes it unbearable unless I hit the mute button and get the stereo going with some good old music to relax my nerves from even the thought of his voice.:gaah:
