My thoughts exactly. I wanna win. others appear to want to make a social statement. to what end, I haven‘t a clue. I thought I was the only one who saw it, now it appears some posters aren’t as sly as they thought.

Oh, I'm willing to pass on QB this year. It's taken so long to find a true franchise QB. Not sure if Howell is that, but he has the potential to be.

I think Stroud has like one pic and he doesn’t have McLaurin and Dotson. He appears to be a cut above. Howell is easily the best QB in his draft. I really like what I've seen. Kinda why I want to stick with EB. I don't want to jerk around with the chemistry.

Might want to replenish that defense after trading your starting DE's at the deadline.

He did have a terrible game. He has to be better, he can’t continue to have these off games every 4 or 5 games. But, it’s not uncommon for a young QB to experience this early in their careers.

It is not a slippery slope…it is just an observation.

Sty is a great poster, one of my favorites, and he can back up everything he says.

Just because his opinion differs from my own doesn’t make me dislike him. As a matter of fact, I enjoy talking with Sty as much as any other poster because our differences make us interesting.

I am not big on short QBs either. I am a SH fan but I still have doubts. I would not go Penix or Maye over SH. I would consider Williams if he fell but I expect Daniels to be the best of the bunch.

It is my strong feeling that Rivera is responsible for the fans who aren't convinced Howell WILL be the franchise QB(me included)
(i say fans because, i believe new ownership/coaching staff may lean toward getting their own qb)
I blame Rivera for not doing more in FA and the draft to strengthen the o-line, which in turn i believe would have reduced the number of mistakes
howell has made, essentially as a rookie QB. how Howell is able to execute despite poor protection and no imagination in the run game is impressive. top 5 passing despite being the most sacked qb. The QB situation for 2024 will be interesting. i'm also concerned about the play calling
