When can Howell legitimately start looking for a pay increase? Despite what some r saying. The kid is showing he has the goods.

12 freak8n carries for RBs in a game where neither team. Had more than a 7 pt lead. That's bullshit

If I am looking to become a GM, this job looks better by the day:

Several early draft picks = check
Dedicated owner = check
Ample cap space = check
Capable and talented qb = check
Once storied franchise = check
Possibility of changing the team name = check

Call me a homer, but this would be the premier GM job opening. I am not biased either...lol

If what we are seeing is legit, I'd say we have about a year and then whomever is in charge needs to be proactive.

My biggest concern with EB is how quickly he gives up on the running game.

he has 2more years on his rookie deal. I’d wait until next season. If his play is still at this level, I’d start making offers to extend.

I've sen him get away from it when Robinson kinda has it going but i also like the fact that he doesn't run just for the sake of it when it's clear its not going to be there.

>Young starting qb
>Top 10 pick

It's one or the other. Either he'll finish strong and so will the skins or he isn't definitely the guy.
I don't see it as one or the other with a defense ranked 31st.

They'll come together on defense if they know they have their QB. Del Rio has tons of experience over the course of a full season.

We have to keep the defense honest. If they know Sam is gonna drop back every play, they are going to bring the house. Also, a running game takes time. Pound it and the defense becomes tired. The more you run, you usually get more effective.

Giving up 27+ points a game n if they don't lead the league in 20+ yards plays given up (Gave up another 4 20+ yard plays yesterday including a killer season long for the Hawks 64 yarder) They gotta be close to it. And every other week it seems like at least one of those plays is a 50+ yard highlight reel TD. Del Rio's defenses always play like ass early on, but by now they have their shit together for the most part. Unless they're facing a very good/great QB. This year they're getting ripped new ass0s by Fields n Tyrod. Every freakin week someone seems to come up with some best game of the season aspect against the Skins. Like Geno having a season best 369 passing yards yesterday.

4 of their last 7 games are against Cowboys x2 , Dolphins n 9ers. I'm not feeling the coming together of a Del Rio defense that's been a sieve this year against these opponents.

The Skins have already fucked off 2 years of what realistically is a 3 year window. They need to hit significantly in the upcoming draft n FA for the 24 season. It might not be fair to EB, but I wish they'd fire Riverboat n JDR right now. I'm so done with their brand of incompetence.

I think I'm finally there too. Got a feeling Magic was there weeks ago. I think Harris understands this season is lost and dumping all of this in EBs lap is somewhat unfair.

We'll see. If they get smoked on TG that might be the spot. Other than that, I think Ron and Jack make it to the end of the year.

I doubt a new owner will fire an established coaching ataff mid year. It’s a bad look for the new owner.

I am sure that RR will be fired at the end of the year along with the entire coaching staff and hopefully the GMs, with some sort of formal but well written “thank you for your service” press release, because that’s the professional thing to do.

I would hope that EB continues to learn on the job and incorporate new running plays. He clearly has figured out what the offensive line can do well ( not much) and cant do well (most of the requirements of the job), and has adjusted his playcalling.

I would hope that new ownership hires a GM that wants to get more info from EB before figuring out what to do with him.

Edit: I bet Josh Harris fires the ridiculous multiile bad GMs first when the season is over, then hires a GM and lets the new GM decide what to do with the coaching staff. That’s the most likely decision, and also arguably the most professional, I think.
