Won't get what they gave for him. Teams will just wait for him to get cut as he is a PS type at best.

In the limited time we saw Sam play last season he made Drew Lock look like a HoFer.

Last year when Lock signed with NYG JS said that they wanted to bring him back but had to get Williams contract out of the way first. I wasn't a true believer but he said this multiple times and seemed honestly upset that they lost Lock. Now that they brought him back i believe 100% what they said last year. In 2023 Drew started against the Eagles and when they took the handcuffs off he lead them to a victory. He may not be a starter but he is a much better back-up than Sam will ever be. I also LOVE Drew Locks size and arm strength. He doesn't throw lollipop deep balls and that makes me smile. I like seeing a ball go 50 yards on a rope more than 50 yards and touch the moon.

I believe with my heart and head had he been able to stick in a starting role he would be a quality starting QB right now. Not a franchise QB but someone that you can win with if you got the team around them. Thats something i never felt with Geno. If Sam Darnold gets hurt or struggles mightily I am fine with Lock and a 4-13 season and a top 5 pick in 2026. One problem with that though is our defense will be better and that means it will be VERY hard to only win 4 games.
