I wouldn't say it's the end yet - Doesn't look to good right now, but Russell will be a cheaper version of Klay Thompson while Thompson is recovering. Once he is gone, Russell will be flipped to replace Kevin Durant and while the Warriors might not be as good as they were, they will still be a contender

People seem to have overlooked that Draymond Green took a massive hit to his game once Durant arrived. He was a budding all star when Durant arrived and has been lost offensively since getting worse with each passing year. Wouldn't surprise me if he found his game and improved his effecincy now that he'll be a bigger part of the offense again.

And I'm convinced Russell is a rental. GS will use him for 4 months to a year, hold if not expand his value on the trade market, and then spin him off for a player or two that fits a little better long term with Klay and Steph.

Pretty much this. Obviously the Ws go from big favorites to just another contender but they could still be in the mix. D'Angelo is there to play until Klay is ready.

That said I would say there's at least 4-5 teams with a better shot at the title.

as far as draymond goes... meh, one of the Morris twins could have done the same in my eyes. which isn't to denigrate Green as much as say similar players could have filled that role and looked great.
