ahhh y'all Pac 12-ers convinced me WSU was good!

You didn't ask the right ones. I've been saying since Leach was there day 1 that his offense won't work the way he wants until his own QB is in it. Halliday isn't that. And their defense? Really? lolz

That would be Trojan Man. He is convinced WSU is going to whip the Ducks this year. He is so confident we have a 2 week avi bet. :noidea:

Who had 14-3 Rutgers just into the 2nd? Anyone... anyone...

My first instinct was Rutgers was gonna win because the Cougs always Coug it up.

But Vegas and everyone picking WSU to cover the -8 changed my mind.

I had the cougs winning, but not covering and they still could. Just know Halliday is good for at least 3-4 ints a game so anything can happen.

Or until Leach does his job, recruit and coach. Halliday isn't any better than he was as a freshman, half the defense are converted receivers and running backs. The dude is a joke, he did a good job at Tech with a two team Big 12 and playing 4 sisters of the poor every year. His best recruit would rather go battle it out for 4th string at Louisville than try to start with this thieve.

He had more talent on the 2012 WSU team then he ever had at Tech and the dipshit ran off his best player and benched his next two best offensive players.

Man wazzy, we missed your warm and upbeat views of your program. Glad to see you back for another season.

Halliday wasn't his. Not the type he goes for and as we've discussed before Leach isn't the kind of HC that adapts his offense to his players, he demands his players to run what scripts. Obviously most of us want a HC that adapts to the strengths/weaknesses of who they have, but this is the hand you were dealt.

When Leach has his own QB at the helm on the palouse and still doesn't improve, then you can lynch him. Until then you at least had your first bowl game in a decade last year, that's something. I mean we won't discuss how that game turned out, but still.

Go long Fireball stock. Cougs are going to drink the entire country's supply dry this fall.

So far I'm seeing the same old cougar team out there. Moments of big play ability, mental lapses on defense, and Halliday still in the backfield.

He's recruited a 3 star and 4 star QB recruit and both have transfered. He has a cute gimmick offense except his gimmick offense is geriatric compared to the new gimmick offenses.

He doesn't know how to recruit. Left covers in Texas were still solid players, he actually has to compete in California for recruits but is too hung up on his ego that players will come to him. His best playmaker is Galvin and he blocks on bubble screens instead of getting them. He will call plays for his favorite little white guys but not for his best players.

pssst, it's still not even half time in the first game yet. You can't start making excuses and digging for your pitchfork at least until they have lost a few games they shouldn't.

I still think the cougs are going to win tonight.

I still think they will win, but by this time in his tenure with the money he is being paid they should be a lot further than what they are. Wulff left him some good cards to play with but he'd rather lose his way than adapt and win like every other successful coach in football today.

Not a personal foul imo. The runner was trying to get up and run because he was sitting on the Rutgers player...
