I think the latter part of your post is more likely. I just don't see him holding up that long.

I just didn't think that it would happen this quickly.

Seattle's locker room fucking hates Russell Wilson. The fact he came back in week 1, was boo'd coming out, and then no trainers/staff or players met him after the game, Pete barely looked him in the eye, Shelby saying, "That's what happens when you trade your defensive lineman" ........ that shit doesn't happen.
And now see Melvin Gordon and even Hamler who has done fuck all in the NFL?
If I was the GM of the Broncos, I'd be getting extremely nervous. Hackett is going to get fired, that's obvious. What a disaster of a trade. Would love to be a fly on the wall in Schneider/Carroll's house if they were watching this game. Sherman saying, "YOU RUN IT!" I think was not a knock at Carroll, it was a knock at Wilson because Sherman doesn't think he can make the play. I have to wonder in the second SuperBowl if Wilson actually suggested to Carroll to pass.... And even if it was Carroll's call, I think how Wilson went about himself with the team and locker room after, was what pissed off everyone on that team.
Per reports we had better offers from the Eagles and Commanders but RW refused to waive his no trade clause for this teamsYep, and I really wish they'd have traded him to an NFC team like Chicago, but I understand why they didn't.
Only bit of good fortune the redskins have had in about 30 yearsPer reports we had better offers from the Eagles and Commanders but RW refused to waive his no trade clause for this teams

As somebody who lives at that altitude, I can assure you it doesn't take more than two weeks at the very most. He's been there since July. Peyton Manning was outstanding as a Bronco right out of the gate. The kid is a rattled shell of his former self. I'm thinking once he gets acclimated to the altitude, he will heat up.
MARK MY WORDS
This might explain the poor throws. But it doesn’t explain the poor progression on his reads
Ahem...................
This might..............
Hackett and Outten being bad coaches might.

maybe given the fact that they knew he had a sore shoulder and already had a poor night, they shouldnt have run a shotgun pass on 4th and 1 inside the 10Hackett and Outten being bad coaches might.
But Wilson should be correcting things if so. He's been in the league longer than his OC.
