The Chiefs??? Twice? Most teams defensive stats look bad after you get torched for 40-50 points. Look at how those defenses fare in the other 11 games and i think you'd be surprised.

What has Russell Wilson done to compare to Peyton? 20 less TD's? Great D, Great Run game. Russell is great, but he is hardly the Most VALUABLE Player in the NFL. There are about 5-8 that could replace him and do as good or BETTER. Not so with Peyton this year.

In their 4 games against top 10 defenses they are averaging over 35 points per game....

They have played, by points, the 4th (twice), 7, 10, 11 (sunday), 12, 13, 16, 19, 21, 22, 30 and 31.

If you adjust those for rankings in the NON-DENVER GAMES it ends up like this.

2 (twice), 4, 9, 11, 12, 13 (sunday), 14, 15, 16, 19, 30 and 31.

That is hardly average.

If I had a vote.

Manning #1, the MVP is about stats, can't get any better than PM this yr.

Foles imo goes #2, saved their season...19 TD to 0 INTS, is pretty stout.

RW #3, clearly he's surpassed all of the 2nd yr starters from last year...but his team is very good around him, maybe they have a couple more losses without him, but most likely still a playoff team.

I think Cam Newton should get some consideration as well

Nope. Hate to put on the rose-colored glasses, rarely do, but Brady is in the fray for many reasons. Guess it will depend on who goes the farthest.

Foles is an excellent candidate, what a surprise! The guy is leading Chip Kelly's system to new heights. Total turnaround since he got starting job. As said, it will depend a lot on the final stretch.

It seems that every year a few "sports experts" start bringing up names for MVP based solely on team success. I love what Wilson brings to the table and how well he runs the offense but I can be realistic and understand his name should no more be in MVP discussions than Alex Smith in KC. That's not a knock on RW, just that this team he's on is that good.
It's Peyton Manning's at this point and really not even close. The only way it could get close is if the Broncos take a colossal nosedive and Peyton turns into Eli for the rest of the season. Than Cam Newton beats the Saints twice, wins that division and gets the #2 seed. Cam may be the runner-up as it stands but he also has some of the problem that Wilson has. That defense is so good that it over-shadows the offense often times.
Foles has been great for Philly and deserves a lot of kudos but I think he's a long distance call from the award. With the season McCoy has had there and that offense, it just seems unlikely although he will receive some notice for sure. As for Brady, he will get his usual notice from some voters and he's done well considering all the new faces and what-not but not MVP worthy good this year.

Rodgers is one of the best QB's in the game today, but missing half a season pretty much removes you from MVP consideration automatically.

Well you actually have to be out there and playing to be considered. Everyone knows he has an argument for being the best QB in the league but he's injured. And as far as the amount of playing time he's had this year, I'd say that Foles has outperformed him. 19 TD's to 0 INT's in that amount of games? That's ridiculous.

foles can only win if the eagles win out and he plays nuts and peyton struggles. Hard to give MVP to guy who didn't play 1/3 of the year. Remember peyton also had 20tds with 0 picks at a certain point.

Peyton Manning would have to have a couple of 7 interception games to lose it. He's clearest choice for a MVP award since Bonds hit 73 HR's (juicing aside of course).

As much as I love how and what RW brings to this team, I don't see him winning the MVP.
As a matter of fact, the pro-bowl might not even be in consideration, because of PYG.

MVP, imo, NO ( he should be considered, but won't win)
pro-bowl, he absolutely deserves this. NO Question about this.

Go Hawks.

Are the Chief's D that good? they given up over a 100 points the last three games.

As far as the Bronco's what you think they don't have a team around Peyton? did they not go to the playoffs recently with ,,,,drum roll,,,,,,Tebow.
