Not sure if any of my other fellow Orangebloods are hearing the same thing this morning, but I have received a few texts from a couple of the officers in our Texas Exes chapter, who are in the know mind you, that Strong will go after Ohio State's OC. Apparently, he has UT and Texas ties, as he was a grad assistant at one point and was the OC for Texas State and Rice as well. Anybody else hearing this? Heard this guy is a damn good recruiter, too.

High ranking Texas official #34 says otherwise.

Barking Carnival has done 2 articles on potential OCs. Tom Herman has been mentioned.

Akina will not be retained, he's gone.

No chance on Lane. Keep that dirtbag away. I am shocked he even has a job at a major university.

Coda knows that he just likes taking shots at Bama...and I approve of his dedication to righteousness.

Shhh... The key to trolling properly is to do it under the radar. Don't blow my cover. He is a dirt bag though, so I wasn't going full troll

Had heard Herman wants to stay at OSU. Also heard the info from AAS reporter Kirk Bohls that Shanahan might be a possibility.

If that happens, I just might throw up in my mouth a little bit.

Goodness, did anyone watch the Redskins at all this year, that offense was bad. I just could not understand the play calling at all. Please don't come to Texas. Thank you.

Just end it already. Apparently the BOR has not authorized Strong ' s contact yet. That needs to be done before assistants can officially join the staff. They aren't meeting until Monday. Very keystone cops

I'd love Kyle shannahan. Last season without any talent besides RG3, he developed a college type read option that got the most out of RG3 and some late round draft pick named Alfred Morris. This season Kyle's hands were handcuffed since RG3 is injury prone, so the offense suffered. Give Kyle a college offense with some dual threat QBs, he'll do great.

I don't know. Maybe it was his dad, or RG111's bad play this year, but I just about threw my remote at the TV watching the Redskins this year, and I don't like the Redskins! As soon as Alfred Morris would get it going, on would come Helu, and some crappy passes with zero creativity. Or, RG111 playing on one knee, cant move, and the call is a zone read? I just didn't get it.

Now, again, it may have been his dad, or whatever. And maybe he'd be better in college. But, between the Redskins playcalling and the Ravens playcalling, had to be the two worst in the NFL.

It's probably just me, I'll get over it, I guess.

Also look what Kyle did with the Texans. One thing he did pick up from his dad, and that's turning late round rbs into studs. I'd love to see him with malcolm brown, Joe B, and Gray. MY big concern with him would be he's never been a college coach.

Okay, your starting to sway me a bit.

Maybe it was just working for his dad, and that whole screwed situation in Washington.

They did get that offense working late last year, give them credit there. And forgot about working w/Texans.

Well, we'll see, we'll see.
