Doubtful he makes the team. Not surprised Lorin was picked, I think he can stick on a roster.

Light-hitting middle infielders seem to hold ongoing fascination for the Pirates, regardless of who's in the front office. Like element, I believe the odds are against Nunez surviving spring training with the Pirates.

On the other hand, perhaps one of these guys will pan out eventually..... by "pan out," I mean learn how to hit..... and become a reasonable facsimile of a major league SS.

Sorry to see Lorin go. Losing him and Pounders makes a dent in our minor league system. How big that dent is remains to be seen.
