Ruff says Flyers whining

its all about consistency.. if they want to call a major on richards for putting his elbow up when kaleta hit him, there were several calls that should have been made in the 3rd on the sabres

and i'm still searching for the penalty carcillo took when he got jumped by weber and miller.. there is no way in hell the flyers should not have had a powerplay there.. if they wanted to call a penalty on carcillo, then both the sabres should've been called, they did far more than he did

the refs in games 1, 2, and 3 called everything very ticky tack.. while i thought they were garbage calls, i thought they were consistently garbage against both teams.. i dont think game 4 was even..

I'm willing to bet he meant to say game 2 and it was a typo?

In his defense the 1 key is right next to the 2 key. Just like I hit the 4 key instead of the 3 key in the GNT yesterday and got the typo police on the scene right away.

i meant it more as a shot at the flyers powerplay for not converting in 5 chances in a 1-goal game haha

after last night i'll agree.. the first 3 games i thought the sabres at least had a resemblance of a powerplay (and a few goals to show for it).. but that major PP looked like they took a page out of the flyers book.. i'm guessing they found out that was a bad idea

I was tricked as well early on when they converted I think the first 2 out of 3 PP's, but it quickly went to shit after that.

I think the refs are helping both teams practice their PP and get better?

perhaps.. it only infuriates me.. its like getting hit twice.. i get pissed when they make a shitty call, then watch a shitty powerplay trot out and kill all the momentum and get more pissed

If it makes you feel any better I think the Flyers PK has had more chances to score than both PP units combined?

true that.. i'll be very surprised if the flyers go the whole series without a shorty.. the sabres point seems very susceptible to aggressive pk'ers.. if giroux and richards would get out there more together i think they'd score.. it's been a lot more versteeg and a lot less giroux in this series i think
