Red Line describes #Canucks 2nd rounder Alex Mallet as "a poor man's Alex Burrows."

Talent Analysis
Andersen is a big goalie who fills much of the net with his frame. Though he is very raw and has not played at a high level of competition, he has the physical tools to be an effective goaltender. Andersen was not mentioned in Central Scouting's ratings of ten European goaltenders and has thus far in international competition enjoyed his best success against second level opponents. But scouts at the World Championship tournament in Germany were impressed with his composure and willingness to battle.

Hockey's Future - Frederik Andersen

They have him at 220 but that may have been a few Danish pastries ago.

He can also score

Pretty cool - Habs just selected Brady Vail, who was born in Hendersonville, North Carolina and grew up in Florida.

a little over 12,000 people in Hendersonville. thats small

'tis a tiny place in the mountains
don't blink

I drove through it late one night on a motorcycle once.
I blinked.

Missed it.

Habs have had a very strong draft, IMO.

Galchenyuk, Collberg and Thrower are all nice prospects.

I agree Kenny, and I also like what the Sabres did getting Grigorenko and Girgensons. RJ could have fun announcing those names down the road.

The Sabres future looks pretty good down the middle now. Grigorenko could end up the best player from this draft.

Unfortunately he might be the best KHL player from this draft.

The Isles had 7 picks & used every single one of them on DEFENSEMAN.

I guess this draft didn't have a single forward or goalie he thought were worth taking.

I'm almost at a loss for words. 7 Defenseman really?:L
