I hear you but, they gave up a 3rd rounder and 5th rounder last year to move up those five spots.
So you move up draft this kid, then after one year watching this kid struggle behind a horrible oline, and coaching staff that couldn't coaching there way into pee wee football playoffs they've decide " he ain't what we thought he could be".


They basically gave two roster spots to test drive a QB.......
And no offense to Cards fans, those two picks could've help fill two spots on a crappy roster

Any other position — I agree 1000% it’d be asinine to trade away a player you just traded up to get the prior year.

At QB though — if you hit on one, or think you have a game changer you can draft — you have to in today’s NFL.

ive actually heard costello, nate stanley, eason, franks and patterson

more on costello but the others higher regarded and could jump up big with good years

Eason was the other one. Him and Patterson were projected like late 1st or 2nd. Franks stock can definitely climb depending on this year for sure.

We are talking about possibly future good to great QB's not slapdicks like Rosen.

Any other position — I agree 1000% it’d be asinine to trade away a player you just traded up to get the prior year.

At QB though — if you hit on one, or think you have a game changer you can draft — you have to in today’s NFL.

Okay you know I should of been a little more transparent in my opening statement,

I don't think he sucks! I honestly feel if this guy can get a coach that knows his stuff about playing QB this guy can be successful in the league...

I have never been a fan of him....for the Cards or whoever gets him sake hope he turns out good but I just don't think much of him. I know he had a shit OL and dysfunction but still I never was a fan in college either

Oh no I think the guy is giant baby, in college and now, but I also know if someone can tap into that snowflake head of his and get him to actually play his arm can, there could be no stopping him!

Plus I would love to see the Cards succeed for the simple fact the Seahawks would bitch and moan even more....

Everyone is itching for anything football related. March and April are the biggest rumor months in the NFL. Right up to the draft, rumors will remain front and center.

Then, when nothing happens, the Cards will be criticized regardless.

Gotta love it.

The GM has ONE more chance to get the coach/QB right or he's gone. If kliff thinks he needs a different QB, then the GM needs to get it done. It's pretty simple. His job is riding on this

Pretty much this.

Murray is better for what Kliff wants to run on offense and Keim needs to make sure Kliff is given every possible chance to succeed.

A new HC and QB tends to give you a longer leash and as long as they show signs of life he'll buy himself a little more time.

The one aspect that gets overlooked is Murray will get fans excited about the team and it'll give them more media attention which is something Rosen is not going to do.

And Keim sucks as a GM so people that suck at their job tend to do stupid things especially when they are desperate to save it.
