This FO would never pick up someone like MWP. He is in the same mold as Stephen Jackson. Although his game and especially Defense is pretty good, he doesn't fit this teams attitude or chemistry.

I've always liked him, and he does play decent D in his old age, but it certainly isn't what it used to be. At this point, his play doesn't warrant the possible distractions. On a team like the Lakers or Knicks, his quotes and antics are anecdotal, and occasionally, relaxing in an otherwise stressful situation. On a young, up-and-coming team looking for its identity, he is just the crazy uncle that no one wants to talk about.

We don't need another wing, a back up PG would make the most sense IF the Warriors sign someone else.
