Why is Romo not in the MVP discussion?

He has a TD to INT ratio of 27:5 since week one when he clearly was not ready from his injury.

His 120.4 QB Rating is 2nd barely to Rodgers 111.2

His QBR is 3rd at 80.2 and barely behind Manning and Rodgers.

His team is 10-4 and is a surprise contender.

His 69.5% is 2nd to Brees 70%

His 8.37 YPA is barely 2nd to Rodgers 8.38

Not saying he should win, but he definitely is top 5.

Tony is proving the doubters wrong. I believe he is worthy of the MVP.

He is a runner up but definitely not worthy of being chosen over Rodgers or Brady just in the quarterback group.

Yeah neither has luxury of playing with a Dez and Demarco at RB but def top 5 Imo Rodgers/Watts and then other 3 in any order

Well depending on the motive of the conversation, Nelson and Lacy aren't exactly slouches.

He is imo.

Without Murray, the Cowboys can manage, without Romo, they're fucked.

He won't be seriously considered. He's had a very good year, but he may not even be the MVP of his team. He's 19th in passing YPG. They're very balanced. It's not as if he's carried them.

He's having a great season. I'm still waiting to see him win more in the postseason though. What is he, 1-3 in the playoffs?

Nice season for Romo so far, but unless he gets red hot and puts up monster numbers to close out the season, you can't put him ahead of Brady or Rodgers. If he had better numbers than anyone, he probably still wouldn't get it, just because of the way he's been viewed. In reality, he's better than he gets credit for being, but you have to win big, and win big fast if you're a Cowboys QB.

We can pretend Murray carried them, but that's a stretch too. The one game they played without Romo this season, they lost. They lost because they couldn't move the ball. Murray played in that game.

Romo seriously might win MVP

He is out of control right now. He has arguably the best QB stats this year. Rodgers really was not that impressive again today. 1 TD vs Tampa in garbage time, really? He has not been the same player on the road this year.

No your right they are not slouches but doubt anybody has that success with Jordy
