Roger Goodell waiting for ESPN to advise on punishment.

Didn't even realize this until my ride home from work but Goodell basically gets his bonuses from 3 owners and Kraft is one of them.... Could be the reason why no punishment.

I honestly could care less what happens. I like watching the Pats but I do not bleed for them. I want Goodell to not suspend and throw the 25k fine just so there will be at least 2.5 million new threads and 5.8 million replies with outrage.

I was going to say, tell me of a commissioner of any major sports league you all loved? Stern wasn't that popular, Selig? Pretty universally hated, hmmm Paul Tagliabue? well maybe?

Hating on commissioners and blaming them for all of any sports ills is as old as sports themselves.

Won't that happen either way though? I mean Rock posts about as many threads as the rest of us combined on the General Board so either way we are getting 2.5 million new threads full of outrage.

there is so much scrutiny now that wasn't here in years past, hell, everyone thinks there is more weather now than in years past, there is someone w a smartphone at every event that ever happens, so this influx of information changes our perception of what is going on in the world.
