I think there's certainly an argument to made for Brady being the GOAT, but I think it's closer than "not even close". Montana (cross generational stats are hard to compare) would still be "close" as in 1A and 1B, and if A-Rodg gets 1 or 2 more rings, it's going to be "close".

Yeah...to say 'it's not close' in this regard is quite ridiculous. The funny thing about Brady and the people who believe he's the best ever - which they are entitled to - is how he's basically accomplished the same post season accolades and performed as well as Montana. The reality is that on a per-game basis in the playoffs, Brady is certainly a level or two below that of Montana.

And Rodgers doesn't give him any time Brady was pressured like crazy vs Houston and Rodgers had 5-6 sec a throw vs Dallas. NY pressured him in the first Q and he had negative yards Brady has over 100 more sack than Peyton with less games played. Say something credible and unbiased for once. Here you can watch Mr October G&G
Rodgers buys time with his mobility... Don't be such a homer sonny.

Rodgers needs to win another SB to be in the discussion. Brady is certainly there with Montana, Elway, Manning and Unitas. I still think Marino had the most raw talent of any QB but never had the teams. He was amazing in his first 6 years.

Brady needs everything to be perfect for him to succeed. He needs his 5 yard pass open or he will throw ducks deep that are caught luckily by his teammates. That last throw by Rodgers is something Brady isn't capable of doing. There hasn't been one game I have ever watched Brady and said wow. Does nothing to impress me and that goes for Manning as well during his career. Guys like Elway and Rodgers are head and shoulders better when it comes to playmaking and turning garbage into something great. Peace.

Sure he does sometimes when he scrambles, I'm talking about when he is in the pocket for 5 sec. I am never a homer like you, I had Ryan winning MVP this year, when Brady was leading and also same last year when Cam came on strong last year and deserved it. 23 hits las t year in AFCG, but has a good O-line :doh::doh: Boomer will tell you

Of course he doesn't have as many one and done's and in the playoffs as Montana either (4)

I'm a Cowboys fan but you seem to be the one fascinated with his sexual orientation.

Fair or unfair. That does matter in these type of discussions. SB rings are not that easy to get.

I like making fun of him. I'm a Lions fan and he's a douche but a talented QB. I do think he's gay though, not that there is anything wrong with that. :noidea:

If I was a homer I'd have Romo winning the 2014 MVP award. I also picked Ryan to win it this year so get off your high horse.

The numbers don't lie, but I remember the QB position being much tougher 20-30 years ago. They didn't have the protection they do now. That's why I tend to give more credibility to guys like Montana, Marino, Elway, Fouts than I do Brady, Manning, Rogers et al...

Don't get me wrong, they're great QBs, I just think it's difficult to compare the two generations. It's a different position today.

Back in my day :L

If Rodgers is getting in this discussion, has anyone mentioned Steve Young? He was just as efficient in a harder era to make less mistakes.
