WOBURN, Mass. -- The son of Boston Red Sox broadcaster Jerry Remy has been indicted by a Massachusetts grand jury on a murder charge in the death of his girlfriend.

Jared Remy has pleaded not guilty in the stabbing death of Jennifer Martel. The Middlesex district attorney's office said Tuesday that Remy will be arraigned Oct. 8 in Superior Court.
Remy is accused of repeatedly stabbing Martel at a Waltham apartment complex on Aug. 15 and slashing at neighbors who tried to help her. He was arrested at the scene, covered in Martel's blood.
The attack came a day after Remy was released from custody after being accused of assaulting Martel on Aug. 13.

I think Hughes ends up in the NL out west and Joba ends up in Japan.

Granderson to Texas, Cano to New York (maybe the Yankees), Girardi in Chicago with the Cubs, and Kuroda hangs em up or goes back to Japan.

I doubt it, and for one BIG reason.

His dad pretty much knows he did it, and is acting accordingly ( much to his credit, from me ).

BigD, why haven't the Dodgers locked up Kershaw yet?

And...

What is a bigger priority, getting Cano or re-upping Kershaw?

I don't think they can have both.

After seeing that Rosenthal closed out the Cards win today, it made me think.

Will he be their closer in the post season? Do they return to Mujica? Or, do they forgo a closer per se, and give the kid Wacha a shot to do it this post season only, ala Wainwright from a few years ago?

Hmm...

Rosenthal has the gas, and the late inning experience. He is their closer of the future, too. They may use Wacha in the rotation.

you really miss rock and down

bribe them back with SportsHoopla vcash.

I miss Down like I miss Sake Bomb Sam or a hole in the head. Either one.

I'm just disappointed Rock chose to leave here in the manner he did.

Because as much as everyone likes to make them out to be this bottomless pit of money that can afford a $500MM payroll I think that they have their limits just like everyone else.

Besides, if they were a bottomless pit of money wouldn't they have locked up Kershaw by now?

Got it.
I think part of Kershaw's issue is that he is super reluctant to talk during the season. Hates it.

Magic is richer than Robert Kraft and didn't need low-quality processed cheese product to profit from low-income American families to get it either.

Kershaw not talk? His big fat mouth never stops running. Someone's going to stick a fist in it one of these days.
