That hit almost caused a riot, lol. That's how much Orr was and still is loved in Boston. Whe their careers were over Orr was the only agent Quinn would ever talk business with (after a how's it going and everything). It's a shame such a great hockey mind never won a Cup as a HC/GM/President. RIP Quinnie.

Based on who he was coaching for much of his NHL career I just couldn't bring myself to like Pat Quinn, but his players LOVED him. That's good enough for me. Heckuva coach.

Also, he was the coach of the 2002 Gold Medal Team which is one of my favorite hockey moments.

I thought Pat Quinn got a raw deal from the Oilers which makes me sad on his passing as this was his last coaching gig in the NHL and he deserved to go out on better (and on his own) terms.

Slightly OT but...

Anybody remember from about 1991 that song on the morning radio in Vancouver (I can't remember the station, but it was definitely AM radio) where they redid The Mighty Quinn song - a la Weird Al? That one line always cracked me up - "throw another left, throw another right, we can't play hockey so let's start a fight".
