RIP Bill Sharman

Bad news for the Lakers family. Bill Sharman passed away today. He had a mild stroke about a week ago. He coached the 71-72 Lakers championship team and has been with the Lakers for a long time. Of course he was also a Celtics guard during the 1950s. I'll let that slide!

His 2010 championship ring is being auctioned off for charity in November along with tickets to a game. Unfortunately you won't be able to meet him if you win.

I remember Bill Sharman as the Lakers coach and him being the coach for the 69-13 team. A great Trojan, Celtic and Laker!!

RIP Coach Sharman, you will be missed.
