You can use the word thug as long as you aren't using it as a replacement for the N word. Nothing we know about Sherman even remotely fits the definition of a thug. People calling him a thug were for the most part really calling him an N word.

How bout you just call him a douchebag if you dont like him??? LOL. The other words denote race when used the way they are often used. Personally I dont care if you use either word but you also need to be prepared to deal with the push back when you do.

The same can be said of the N word. How many rappers out there use it? How many stand up comics like Chirs Rock?

IMHO, Sherman played the race card because he did something stupid. That something stupid had nothing to do with the color of his skin.

I don't think he's a thug.

When I picture a thug I think of either Aaron Hernadez or Rae Carruth - both in prison for murder.

Sherman is a loud mouthed douche bag but he's not a thug.
