I didn't say that they sit around waiting for it. They just know it's coming because he needs to speak his mind, and once it comes they can pretend to be offended.

Guess what, at several points this season he will have a microphone pushed in his face, will be asked a question and will answer it honestly. Just go ahead and prepare yourselves for the outrage. Why cant he just be more fake to the media and pander to all fans!!!

We've seen plenty of guys that just "let their play do the talking" that have turned out to be horrible human beings so I dont put a whole ton of value in to what anyone says to the media. At least Sherman appears to just be keeping it real and telling you what he really thinks instead of telling you what you think he should say. He may be hated for it, but as a man should he give a shit what you think when it comes to his career or legacy?

The problem is he would have to be fake in order to show some class.

It's really not that hard to figure this out. It's called strategy.

He knows he's good. He can make plays. Swat balls away, intercept passes, shut down receivers. Since he has that under control, he can also talk shit between games to get under the skin of other players. It's not to make himself look bad. It's so when Tom Brady gets so flustered by his talk and says something dumb like "Come see me after the game," then gets even more frustrated by Seattle's D, he starts to make mistakes. When players like Brady start to make mistakes, the Seahawks have a better chance of beating them.

Actually you're wrong, I do. He should've given credit to the Seahawks defense. I'm not your average fan. I think he should've given respect to the Hawks. Earl Thomas validated the story that Brady was talking trash. He must be a liar too. Brady just says good job to the defense after every play because he's a HOFer.
