He falls into that camp of having worked with a supposed mastermind. Many teams in the league are trying to find that newfangled, young, innovative coach. Most are compared to Sean McVay. In this instance Scangarello has worked with Kyle Shanahan for 3 years and is credited for getting the most out of Garrapollo, Betheard and Nick Mullins. The Broncos went old school across the board but for the OC position, they followed suit with much of the league in hoping that they tapped into an innovative, young coach. Having said all of that, Scangarello is 46 years old, so he's not that young. Of course next to @SpringStein, he's like a baby.

I wonder how long do we give the new regime? If the Broncos are competive in games to the tune of 7-9 or 8-8 next year are fans going to be patient enough to give the new staff the benefit of the doubt?

Personally I’m trying to throw our all expectations for next season. Easy to say now harder to do in September!

Kubiak is the same system mcvay my guess Mcvey seems to use all the field my guess.


And it sounds like this OC will use that plan of all the field. Our Head coach stated that was important to him.

Everyone I have spoken with is very excited about this hire... one of the next big things offensively.

We will see if this plays out but if he really does succeed I could see Denver moving on from Fangio down the road to keep Scangarello at HC.

To be honest I wasn't upset with the staff the Joseph put together. I thought there was good mix of experience, especially on the offensive side of the ball.

This is reasonable IF they get their long term QB this year. Hit reset completely on offense instead of having Keenum start in 2019 and then hand it over to a first year starter.

Nope. Have the annointed one identified and starting in year 1 for him and the new coaching staff that way you won’t be breaking in a new QB in year 2 when winning is mandatory.

If Ozzie Newsome has you involved in coaching TEs for 15 years, that's saying something ...
