Who is more respectable? People who state their opinions even when the masses think they are wrong, or people who won't stick their neck out on any subject or any person?

Both- I respect anyone until they give me a reason not to.

This isn't an issue about respect.

I am simply saying... I hope the Siemian lovers are right but it is way too early to tell without him passing a ball in a regular season game. Let's not get ahead of ourselves before we toot our horn.

We are all often right and we are all often wrong.

If they wear a bronco jersey I don't care if the guy is my worst enemy and in my eyes the worst player to ever step on a college football field. I hope at the end of the day he turns out great. But lets be honest here we all know that just because a guy wins a starting job doesn't mean he is going to be great.

It is a good opportunity for him to be great, but let's be fair here.

I mean Max Garcia was a guy I REALLy wanted coming out of college and the guy won a starting job and hasn't exactly been great. I won't be tooting my horn on him until he proves himself.

Here's a quote from Kubiak in regards to Paxton Lynch .. not exactly a glowing endorsement of Trevor:

“We’re going to have to find ways, once we get going, to actually do a lot more extra with him than say some other guys you’re working with,” Kubiak said. “We want to get it done as quickly as we can.”

Yeah, I think Siemian's tenure as a starting QB is going to be pretty short, but I hope he does well.

My biggest worry about Siemian is interceptions. He only had 3 more TDs than INTs in college and he's thrown a couple this preseason. If he wants to keep the starting gig, he's gonna need to throw the ball to the opposing team a little less.

On a side note, guess who's working a night shift on Sep. 8th when the Broncos are kicking Cam Newton and the Panthers butts?

I agree that that doesn't sound like a ringing endorsement for Siemian, but his thinking may have been more that if we make the playoffs Lynch will need all of the starting experience he can get before then (which also isn't a ringing endorsement, lol).

Bummer. At least it's not the first game of the season, which happens to be a rematch of the Super Bowl.

I project Siemien's career path just north of Tom Brady and just south of Aaron Rodgers.

I'd make a prediction like that, but the last guy I thought would have a career path similar to Brady was Tom Brandstater. And where is he now? Probably working at a KFC in Fresno or something. Although that prediction was just because he was a 6th round pick, whose name started Tom Bra, and would be coached by one of Brady's most successful OCs. Turns out Brandstater and McDaniels both suck.

True story. Just saw him working at a Wells Fargo here in Denver.

Hmm must have moved. I knew he was a financial adviser for a company in Nashville for a while. Wouldn't surprise me if he came back to the Denver area though.

Well, I guess that's a step up from a Fresno KFC.
Idk
Free chicken and pizza (Pizza Hut) might be better than working for one of the worst commercial banks in Denver and maybe the country

The point was ( I guess it got lost by some ) back then some thought Simian had a good shot to be a " STARTER " as any of them but some laughed it up and said no chance. Here he is the starter. Honk honk. :)
