A legitimate question to the peanut gallery; why is it that so many people want to believe the Pats are the only team doing these sorts of things? I just can't wrap my head around that conclusion. Every team in this league wants to win. The successful franchises take it to another level. Chances are if your team is successful, they aren't exactly following the rules but are looking and finding loopholes to do so. I don't think that's a pessimist view but a realistic one.

I have to be honest, I could truly give a shit about this "scandal." I imagine every team in the NFL is fighting tooth and nail to squeeze out as much blood out of their turnip as possible and this is not exclusive to the Patriots. If you honestly believe the other 31 teams are choir boys, I'd suggest stepping outside this forum and interacting in the competitive business world. In virtually every profession, people are looking for ways to game the system, some less overtly than others. I could totally see something to this effect happening in every locker room.

I don't think its exclusive to winning teams. Winning teams just have more eyes on them.

But yeah, the NFL consists of highly competitive people, whose job security is year-to-year at best in most situations, with millions and millions of dollars at stake. It's about as dog eat dog as it can get.
