Rep Rewards Challenge!
Instructions:
I was thinking, since this board has a system to reward people for good post, why not take it a step farther. No, you are not going to make money on this or my favorite choice (food), but if you have some football knowledge and a little luck, you may be the big (RRC) winner.
I will list games each week, you pick the outright winners. The one who picks the most winners will be rewarded by all participants with a positive rep.
Rep Reward Challenge Week #2
There will be 3 tie breakers this week as well, just in case we have ties.
If you want to participate, then copy this list and make your winning selection in bold print.
Everything will be upfront so all can see and the winner will be posted at the end of the thread. We all can take part in the accounting and insure the right person receives the positive REPs.
The amount of positive reps awarded weekly will be dependent on the number of players that post their selections. This will be an honor system, so please understand if you participate; it is incumbent on you to REP the final winner with a positive rep. I suggest when you rep the winner, you simply put your screen name with the initials (RRC) for Rep Rewards Challenge in the comment line. If you do not positive rep the winner in a week you participated, you may be disqualified in future weekly challenges!
The winner of any given week will need to review who he/she received positive reps from with RRC in the comment line and post anyone who has not rep’ed them.
Again: I will put up a list of games every Week, and we can track weekly winners. At the end of the year, we can declare a REP Champion. If there is a tie between multiple parties at the end of the year, we can have a playoff between those involved in the tie. The champion will be based on weekly winners, not individual results totaled. Example. Hawkeyehater is announced as the winner in three of the weeks but so is JJM.
We would simply use the weekly winner as the rule rather than the number of correct picks each week added together.
EXAMPLE BELOW:
Week 1 winner: JJM
Week 2 winner: HH
Week 3 winner: HH
Week 4 winner: red alert
Week 5 winner: landon
Week 6 winner: Tox
Week 7 winner JJM
Week 8 Winner: jwesh
Week 9 winner: ahfox
Week 10 winner: HH
Week 11 winner: JJM
Using the above example, we would have JJM and HH having a one game playoff for championship using the below example to determine the Grand Champion.
No one has time to count each weekly total and save them and analyze. We need to keep it simple.
If JJM and Hawkeyehater tied at the end of the year. We could use (one) last game they would complete on. On that game we could use not only the closest to the correct score, but yardage total and other aspects of that game to declare THE Champion.
There again, all those who participated in the weekly challenges, would give the Champion a positive Rep for being declared the Grand Champion of the RRC.
If you have no honor, do not participate.
