Good riddance. I guess if you can't be a top player in North America, why not take your talents to Europe?

Damn, now I'm doing it.

its a shame...he could have been really really good if he never went over there.

he seems like one of the athletes that are a damn waste. Incredible talent but would rather get a ton of money than win at the highest level of competition.

LAZY

Not saying the AHL and KHL are on the same level, but it seems like he'd rather drop down a level and be considered to be a better player.

Radulov is set to make 300 million rubles per year, around $9.2 million, in the #KHL. More details soon on Puck Daddy.

this could be the death of the KHL in the future

I mean I know they have money and the fan support is limited but for a player like him to get this money.

edit:" I tried to delete that thread dash but it looks like you moved it first. you can get rid of it. I didn't see yours originally. i JUST woke up :D

I just hope other Russian talent doesn't follow...because that's some crazy money. Although, I feel like if I were a millionaire, a few extra million wouldn't really matter to me. I wouldn't know what to do with ONE million.

it scares me a little because he used to mention that he wanted to end his career in Russia. He is my all-time favorite player and when he leaves it will be very hard for me to handle.

Haha! That makes more sense.

I had Datsyuk in my head so I guess I thought that I typed his name down but I guess not.

Radulov: "I am happy I signed with CSKA and will play for a club with great traditions." (SovSport)

So it was tradition. Gotcha.

CSKA's arena seats 5,500 people.
that means tickets would have to be priced at about $1,675 each, and sell out every game, just to cover his salary alone.
now there's a doozy of an economic model.

i dont consider myself an economic wizard, but i think its bad when you pay out more than you bring in...
