Yeah, but we all know as a Seattle Mariner this season he would likely be sitting on 25 Home runs right now, as opposed to the 52 he currently has playing for the Dodgers

I'm watching the rangers broadcast today and they showed a graphic showing the Mariners are #1 or #2 in most hitting stats since Dan and Edgar took over. I'm curious why, as much as I respect Dan and Edgar I doubt they are the main reason, especially in this small sample size.

The rangers announcers were talking about it saying how the Mariners are being a lot more aggressive now and trying to avoid 0-2 counts.

So what's changed? It seemed to me for years the team has tried to take as many pitches as possible trying to get the starting pitching out of games earlier. It would force the team to be stuck in 2 strike counts a lot trying to rack up pitches, and cause our hitters to strike out looking.

And now they are more aggressive hitting good pitches when they see them and not waiting around. Did Edgar tell them to toss that shit approach when he came back?
