Remaining Schedule and Subsequent Draft Position

It's highly unlikely the Raiders schedule is enough better that they will have a hard time catching the 49ers or Cardinals. The Cardinals and 49ers are tied in strength of schedule and if it ended that way the 49ers would still have the top pick because the Cards have the better divisional record.

All I said was that it's not guaranteed...even if they lose out.

I'm not sure they take that into account just who has the better divisional record but if you beat a team twice you are likely to have the better divisional record.

I'd have thought head-to-head would be in the equation somewhere; maybe not.

In a sense it is with the divisional tie breaker the Cards beat the 49ers twice which makes their division record better.

You can't help but agree with this writer if all of this is true, you have to try and re-sign Armstead. i don't think he has a case for a LARGE contract due to his injury history? IF Soloman Thomas isn't showing anything, can't hold on to him just for pride?!

Pass on A. Armstead unless he comes back on the cheap....and I'm on record to get multiple pass rushers in this draft.

Some good pass rushers have come from non-power 5 schools, you just never know.

Good point. Mark Gastineau went to East Oklahoma State or some chump school like that and Howie Long went to Villanova who I don't think even play football anymore. So I guess you never know.
