Sheesh.....to rebut my own comment, I hadn't realized that Suggs came back in 5 months from his achilles tear. Nevermind everything I said. I guess between amazing doctors and insane determination they can do some incredible things these days.

Suggs had a partial tear though and he didn't start to come on till the playoffs

Yeah, I think there's a legit chance of that. But we're pretty heavy at CB, regardless, so Morris may be in some trouble.

Would have been nice to keep Marcus Cooper over, say, Ventrone. At least Cooper had the size to be a valuable STs contributor.

Watched KC vs. Oak yesterday and saw Cooper read and then break on a slant to get a Pick 6.... so yes loosing Cooper was disappointing given his apparent upside and overall size. Looks like the guy can play.

I think he could, but I'm not sure it makes sense to push it. We should be able to beat both teams we face before the bye without him. Against the Jags we should do nothing but run the ball.

I agree both teams should be wins but i an not sure anymore. I'm guessing we see Dial and Tank before MM

Husain Abdullah is the one who recorded the pick 6 at the end. Cooper did have a pick a few minutes before that, though.

Manningham is looking good at practice today. Harbs said either manningham, tank or wright could be activated this week.

Cool, thanks. I was checking 49ers webzone and 49ers.com and didn't see anything about practice except that Reid wasn't on the injury report and Whitner was a full participant.

Yeah, I'm almost certain those guys traveled with the team. They can be activated any time, it's just a matter of being healthy - and being better than the alternatives. It's pretty clear (to me at least) that Moore would be on his way out when Manningham is activated. Carradine's spot is more of a mystery. I wouldn't be surprised if it's a guy at a different position given the DL injuries of late.
